I'm currently an inmate at WCI. I am serving three and three out for possession of meth and FTR as a result of my addiction and misunderstanding. I thought I was a rapist until someone I was jailed with was talking about giving someone a hickey. not relavant.
I attempt with suicide in the Portage County Jail in 22. I was taken to the hospital after I was revived. I waited until right after walk thru. all that. I did it right. I'm told I can sue. not relevant.
That being said, I have serious mental health issues and have had them since I was a child. I am under a chapter 51 out of Vilas County from 07 that was never followed up. I have court ordered ADOA and mental health needs I desire and is the reason I was put in prison for so long to have addressed. That was the reasoning of all the judges and the AG. DOC has never offered me AODA in the 10 years I have been incarcerated..I was always under the influence and every single one of my crimes in and out since 07.
I was sent to RCI which is literally the most known for drugs and then to WCI. WCI is second. This is no secret. All of my CRs are use of intoxicants. Prison, the, hole and any type of punishment is not a deterrent to me. I actually have drugs in the hole.I cannot get away from drugs. I have been begging PSU for a year or so to help but they do minimal visits, like just going through the motions. I have all of this documented. I feel like I'm in a war zone in my mind. Like I'm going to have a psychotic break that will leave a scorched Earth scenario, I don't want to be released like this., I'm 8 months away and malevolent voices( he hears?).
There is a culture of abuse, incompetence, corruption and and theft of inmate property here.A free-for-all that the ICE Department harbors. .I have proof. I am not just some disgruntled inmate.I literally listened to Mr Myers begging for water and medical attention. I've heard inmates being assaulted. screaming in pain. heard blows landing. I'm scared. I was assaulted by a CO and I can requested the range footage so I could have my contact report dismissed and it hasn't been provided. there are literally too many, incidents For me to fit in this letter. I have so much paperwork, replies to requests, and preserved conversations on body cam. I exhausted my administrative remedies. I do not know who to turn to. I'm a NOBODY. an ADDICT. mentally affected in the worst possible way. I was fairly stable when I first got here I am being legally tortured. I have empathy for the cos. I understand it's a stressful job but there is NO REASON for some of the things that happened here that are covered up and justified by a double standard policy. We are hopeless in here and are only defense is violence because Administration doesn't help us no matter how much proof we have. you can FEEL the oppression just looking at the building. lf at all possible, I wish the letter to be forwarded to Legal Action of Wisconsin, the MJS, or anyone who can investigate.I know exactly where to (?0, I now what records will be missing I know the root causes of inmate violence,, suicide self-harming and mental health breakdown here. It causes me to fantasize about wiping this place from the face of the earth., I evven told staff about my nightmares. “” “Are you suicidal?” WTF? I'm scared of me.

Terrance is mentally ill and has been in prison for over thirty years for multiple misdemeanor. Like many in our system, he could not understand the rules and protocols and the system has no way of helping him. When FFUP first knew him it was the “face forward“ policy that always got him more time- He trusted noone and when walking with guards, would look sidewise at any provocation; fighting would ensue and then more charges. Terrance was in a war zone-he was either fighting or being drugged to a stupor.He has been caught in the devastating syndrome we call ”in for multiple misdemeanors and still in 30 years later.”
Terrance asks to go to the colorado system where his family lives and where he would get comprehensive mental health treatment.
He is in the process of exhausting his remedies

…I went to have a MRI done because there was a person put in my room who always had to do things his way and jump down from the top bunk on top of me. When I went to the hospital for MRI, it shows my neck was fractured and other damage was done to the neck. I now have lost more use of my hands and arms. I'm not able to wheel myself around as much anymore as I once did. at this time. While in the hospital for different tests all my personal things were packed but were not put in safe place and always left in the room and inmate by the name of e l e i t s p i l l e r 684165 was moved into my room where this individual took it upon himself and took what he thought he had a right to. He took from me many canteen and hobby items for himself.( lists 18 hobby and canteen items)
as you know being disabled and a wheelchair is so difficult while in an institution. My family is very grateful for you for all you do to go out of your way for their father…. I'm sorry to always have to show so much bad news with what's going on all the time .As you know I'm wearing a neck brace due to a bad fracture in the neck because of the carelessness of the staff for who has been put in the room with me lately. It is said that they are working on a move for a room for me. but all that is just talk. Sorry to say our staff could care less what happens to anyone here, for the truth lies within our words. I still pray for them no matter what happens. I am saddened for all that has Been taken from me, but maybe they were in more need of it, my 6-year-old granddaughter cries for how her grandfather is being treated while here, that's true love for all reasons at hand .
,I was able to wheel myself around this institution but now I'm always in need of others to do so, my stepson has passed due to an overdose, all due to the facts he understood it to be something different than what it was, and just a couple weeks ago my children's grandmother has passed, a very beautiful person,

His issue with his hands is coming from lack of treatment over the years for his complaints of nerve damage,pain, coming from an old injury in the army in which a tank hatch cover fell on his head, compressing the cervical vertebrae, effecting the nerves. They didn't listen to his complaints for years assuming he wanted drugs,and further care is only minimal of course. It took a bad fall down some stairs to get their attention. He was given a cane to help with walking but no treatment. Then it progressed into the wheel chair. He has had one procedure to alleviate the issue but it processes yet. If he were free it have been taken care of better, earlier and he'd still be walking. The assaults that have occurred are just the way it is in an institution, especially for a senior in a wheel chair - easy, vulnerable target to show off violence on or take out aggression. He's had COVID, twice,MRSA multiple times, care is minimal, and if he makes any waves, complaining, he just gets treated poorly as punishment for causing extra work on over-extended guards with hardened hearts and poor training.

I'm writing this letter to you in regards to me getting injured while here at New Lisbon Correctional Institution. I was hurt back in August 28th 20th 2024. I was coming down the stairs and when I got to the bottom went to the step into the concrete floor and I slipped and hurt myself due to condensation because of the heat was making the floors wet and there were no signs up informing that the floors were wet. I have filed complaints and I am in the middle of the complaint process and exhausting my remedies. I have been in constant pain due to my injuries and medical here is very poor. I have only had an MRI done since August 2024 I had that in October in which I have enclosed coffee and my injuries. I am supposed to consult in March to discuss my injuring what steps are going to be taken. as you can see from the port another MRI is requested and it's going to be even longer before I can get the proper surgery done. I'm seeking any type of advice to help that you might could provide. to hold DLC accountable for negligence and not getting the proper treatment should I should be given. I file notice of claim to the Attorney General on December 11th 2024. if you could please help me in this matter I would gladly appreciate. thank you for your prompt attention to this matter

Deliberate indiference, lying, malpractice
At present is being refused effective pain medication and is in constant severe pain. He was given the worn insulin by same nurse ( Taylor) that gave McCalvin the insulin .He was however, blamed for it and given a conduct report and a war ensured. Bill is refusing insulin and has decided to die. He cannot stand the pain and environment and is exhausted. He asks to go to DCI health care unit for palliative care and is refused thus far.

Denial of health aids prescribed by outside Doctor: He was severely beaten at age 9 and has had structural problems since. He has epilepsy, is diabetic,has osteoporosis and he has a fake eye.
He was recommended for medium placement in February. He needs to be moved to a facility where he can get the healthcare he needs
He was prescribed no stairs, bottom bunk , cane , walker,staff by doctor/denied by special needs committee/fell down stairs on 42825/ hospital xrays showed back and hip damage. When he returned to CCI he could not get out of bad to get his food and staff counted that as refusal. He is still waiting for medical mattress, wheel chair and low bunk.
On ________ he was Given Wrong insulin and passed out. Nurse Taylor apologized but he no longer trusts them and refuses insulin when the wrong nurse attends him.

Describes conditions for all:We will be put on lockdown in hot ass suffocating buildings with no ice, no phones, no canteen, nothing. We get 30 minutes out 6 days a week, phone stopped working months ago. There's not one window in Max building where new girls go. Cells are not cleaned between prisoners . Vents are so full of dust and grime everything is Rusted and gross. We do not get any cleaning supplies. We get an old scrap of blanket once a week wet with disinfectant. We can(can’t?) sanitize phones ice machine, tables chairs showers, kiosks- nothing. We don't get masks anymore. We get nothing new. clothes and bedding is so nasty, canteen is out of stock- no deodorant for over 2 months. They are keeping girls in Seg for too long, no programs, no activities nothing. My sugars are so low and they won't even give me a snack bag. NP Lacey Shaffer will not give diabetics snack bags.

Was shot before coming to prison and is in severe pain because of nerve damage- hard to “utilize hands and feet” without ace bandage, brace or pain pills. Medical care and he is constantly “writing this issue up” and they do not care-is scared cuase “anything can happen”

William has been in prison for 25 years without receiving mental health or addiction treatment and his mental and physical health has deteriorated.
He is being harassed and threatened and his mother is being extorted and has paid many thousands of dollars trying to keep her son safe
He belongs to the Potawatomi tribe and his community has excellent resources for mental health and drug addiction treatment
Exhaustion:He has been trying to exhaust remedies but his complaints are gets no response when he files and he assumes his complaints are being destroyed.
INJUNCTION NEEDED. At present he is in Dodge Correctional institution (DCI) in the infirmary because of a mysterious infection that caused him to lose consciousness. He is slowly recovering injunction needed to see he gets paroled and can go back to his tribe where excellent treatment awaits him.
